How would you explain your job to someone who doesn’t know VFX?

I make sure all the CG requests in the studio get assigned and done for all the projects that require a 3D solution. My job requires a lot of problem-solving and communication to make sure everything turns out alright for all projects.

What does a day in the life look like?

My day is full of chats and meetings with a lot of people across departments. Seeing the progress of all the fun projects we have going on and getting to meet such talented and great people has got to be my favorite part!

What are some of your favorite projects? Why?

One of my favorite projects was the music video Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran, I got some very nice memories of working on it being the first project I collaborated in with Ingenuity Studios.

What's something you wish people knew about what you do?

Managing a team is about understanding each team member's strengths and challenges to help everything grow and make sure we all have everything we need to achieve success.

What is something that excites you about your career?

I get excited when seeing the final results of the things we work on as a studio. It's very fun to see how even some very challenging requests we have get done so well.

Are you learning anything new?

I am learning different techniques to decorate cookies in my spare time. Next thing I want to learn is to decorate cakes.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love baking, decorating cookies and jogging!
